Rates
The fee for a consultation, or consultation as they say in Flanders, is €125 per session of up to 60 minutes (price changes reserved and subject to annual inflation adjustment). This is a unit rate and not divisible.
As a rule, you visit me up to 5 times a year. Some clients need only a few consultations, while others need more time.
That depends mainly on the pace an individual body wishes to run and also depends on everyone's individually determined "burdens of life".
This is simply what we all undergo through the life we lead.
Indeed, the more that is going on in your life, the more the net "regeneration force" is affected.
For questions dealt with by email or telephone, or via an image connection, half a consultation will be charged. This is because, for us, even so-called "simple" questions lead to spending a significant amount of time: reading the question, opening the file, looking up any additional information, reading and interpreting the relevant information, applying it to the individual situation and coming up with a solution, which is then noted in the file, translated into "plain language", put in an e-mail or discussed.
Questions concerning agenda logistics issues, cancellation or rescheduling of appointments (provided 48h before the appointment takes place except for force majeure situations), noted mistakes in written advice, etc. are not (immediately) charged.
This ensures that we remain optimally accessible and fit to serve you for as long as possible.
I recommend that you set aside some money every month for the cost of diagnostics, consultations and needed treatments or supplements. This way, you avoid a spike in expenses every time you visit. On average, a monthly amount of €100-€175 is sufficient.
If desired, in individual cases, payment can be made in instalments if really necessary. Incidentally, this is not a right, but an individually determined assessment "at our discretion", so to speak. Consultation with the assistant is recommended.
If we agree on individual payment arrangements, I do expect you to fulfil these arrangements independently. As with any other business, in return for a service rendered, there is a payment. We prefer not to work with collection agencies. But we do have those behind us.
Health insurance
Unfortunately, costs for consultations, diagnostics and supplements are not reimbursed by Dutch health insurers, even if you have supplementary insurance for alternative medicine. A few foreign insurers, mainly in North America and Germany, do sometimes reimburse costs.

In any case, from January 2020, all health insurers have decided to scrap reimbursements from the 'uncontracted care' item, because previously, people were still reimbursed from that pot.
